Our Salvation
Salvation is ours, but only if we pursue what God Jehovah has made available
to us, in the ways He has instructed us, since His Christ has establishing it by
His willful act of allowing His blood to be shed, as full payment for the repented
sins of the souls that He descended to earth to save, those who chose to seek the
truth of His Father, Jehovah. Christ's ultimate act of love for humanity, allowed
not only the Jews, but also, the rest of God's earthly children who would seek Jehovah's
salvation. First and most important, Jehovah, Almighty God is our Savior, "But the
salvation of the righteous is from Jehovah." (Psalm 37:39), "Jehovah has bared His
holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see
the salvation of our God." (Isaiah 52:10) "Yet I am Jehovah, your God from the land
of Egypt; and you shall know no other gods then Me. For there is no Savior besides
Me." (Hosea 13:4), this verse is not confusing if you understand that Jesus had not
yet established His Father's salvation with His personal blood at Calvary. It was
God's intension from the beginning to free us from the bonds of sin, for us to live
the life He intended for all to live; this was by Jehovah's design; this should also
be man's desire, to seek God's offer. However, knowledge and understanding is needed
for those desiring His salvation, so that our acquired wisdom, derived from His Book
would guide our choices toward God, and our destination to be in His kingdom. God
Jehovah chose, by His desire in creating each individual that shares this earth with
us, this was and continues to be His act of love for humanity, His love also gave
us a beautiful and self-
To make this needed choice, each of us must be involves in this process of consuming
God's word, to learn of God's ways and understand what He has provided for us to
know, and to reason why His way is for our benefit, for our co-
God's salvation is not the act of Him saving us from our sin, "So then my beloved,
even as you always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my
absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling." (Philippians 2:12), it
is the act of us shedding sin from our desires, voiding our soul from entertaining
anything against the laws of God's truth. In God's kingdom there will be no one tempting
you to transgress Jehovah's perfect way to live, which Satan has been diligently
doing during this age of education. If sin was allowed into God's kingdom, there
wouldn't be much difference then it is now, therefore, now is our time to adjust
our spirit and to purify our heart, allowing Jehovah's truthful word to rest and
control our actions. Now is the time we are to embrace this solemn responsibility,
to void our heart from yielding to every unrighteous desire during our time in this
current age of education. This cleansing process must be done, Jehovah is not going
to perform this for us, He secures us in the way we are at the end of our life, by
His judgment, or shortly before Christ comes the second time, "The one acting unjustly,
let him still act unjustly; and the filthy, let him still be filthy; and the righteous,
let him still do righteousness; and the holy, let him still be holy." (Revelation
22:11). Those not pure of heart will not be accepted into Jehovah's perfect kingdom;
one's heart will not be made permanent with unjust and un-
Sin was not an accident, unplanned by Jehovah, He is perfect and all things are
aligned according to His perfect plan. Consider the forbidden tree in the Garden
of Eden, which He named, "The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil" indicating
that we needed to know the difference in order to make our choice between the two,
and our God hopes we make the right choice, because Jehovah desires us to express
our love for Him as our Father and Savior, "Salvation belongs to Jehovah, Your blessing
is on Your people, Selah." (Psalm 3:8), The choice is ours, the information needed
to make this choice is available in God's word, given to us by inspiration from God's
only-
It is generally preached by many that a Christian's salvation is secure and assured,
indicating that all our sins are and will be forgiven and we can rest on this assurance.
This is very easy to swallow, but this thinking contains a cautious side effect,
it relaxes our concern and efforts to be repentant, "From that time Jesus began to
preach and to say, Repent! For the kingdom of Heaven has drawn near." (Matthew 4:17)
and "and repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached on His name to all
the nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:47). Our salvation is part of an agreement,
a covenant, which involves both parties holding to their part of the agreement. What
is absolutely assured is Jehovah's commitment to His part of the covenant, but our
individual part remains in question until our last breath. The Old Testament was
an example for our education to seek understanding of our part of the covenant, "And
all these things happened to those as examples, and it was written for our warning,
on whom the ends of the ages have come." (I Corinthians 10:11), and the New Testament
is more of the same, but added is how this education in the Old Testament is put
into effect, into action. Hopefully, after learning of God's way, we can develop
a stronger faith in our God Jehovah and His righteous laws and commands, understanding
how they are for our benefit and peace, for our guideline and for our co-
